Dekstars 2010 Jersey

It just doesn't seem right to only have 2 jerseys........

I'm thinking blank New York Rangers jersey with red white and blue dekstar on the front, Name, Number and UK Dek Association logo on the back.

These are likely to be screenprints by Rhino so cost shouldn't be too bad.

What are peoples thoughts.

Might be worth getting our proper names put on the back as well, rather than our cool 'street' names, would look a bit more proffesional at tournaments.

You can never have too many hockey jerseys. Tbh I love our first jersey but it's a pain we can't all have one.

Whilst Rhino shirts are cheap(ish) they are for a reason. On the upside there is the fact that any new players that want one can order direct for themselves, but on the downside they are poor quality and don't 'feel' right. Would prefer to pay an extra tenner and get CH Sports to do one, or failing that if it's gonna be screenprinted could we not get Malky to do them, there's nowt wrong with the white jerseys we have and uncrested NHL jerseys aren't too expensive to come by.

If we are going down the Rhino route, a word of warning. Their sizing is nowhere near what we have already. My Dekstars red jersey is an L and fits over my armour perfectly, my Rhino Wildcats jersey is an XXXL and is tight.

If we go for Rhino jerseys I'll have one, but would prefer other options.

New rule: Anyone who wears a CH Sports jersey gets a match penalty.

Also I would be setting fire to said backstabbing companies shirt. I for one would not wear there jerseys(even if they are technically ours)

I'd be up for another top (not too sure about skanky NYR style, whats wrong with the leafs? dekstars would be a better team in them than they are )

prefer good quality but i like the 'lightness' of our light tops (no jokes please) as opposed to our heavier, oversized red ones.

I had a quick look into ideas for 'rugby' style tops for leisure-wear or training or whatever if anyone fancies that as an extra sometime?

I just think Red White and Blue would look quite snazzy Leafy. If Darren has time I'm sure he can mock up both and we can have a vote on it!

Darren is having some trouble tracking down some decent jerseys to get made up so I started having a look around on the net and found the SP Apparel Columbus third Jersey which I personally think would make a great Jersey for us.

I've used these in the past. 2 shirts and 2 pairs of socks including shipping less that £50.

I think you've found our third shirt, my votes for this design.

Not sure if I qualify to comment as I've been out of action for a while (but back soon).

Anyways, I agree with Leafy that we'd be better off with something that's suitable for playing dek indoors in, i.e. light and airy, rather than a heavy hockey blanket type jersey like the oversized originals.

Further, whatever we get should be easy to get more of and in more than one size. It irks me that I can't get a second shirt (which are really nice) because we are reliant on a small number of duvet sized shirt stock.

And finally, I'd like to see us stick to a colour scheme and use it throughout.


So... criteria for me:

Lightweight, easily sourced in various sizes and stick with the colour scheme.

Columbus suck and I'm not mad on the design based off their shirts.

I don't really care though and getting a shirt that will fit me and I won't pasws out in are my main priorities.

Another jersey is win, post some prospective designs and let's vote!

On a side note, how much is it to get a hoodie (pref with embroidered logo on chest/sleeve) and a name on the back? Get some more Dekstars stuff on the go; I'd buy a one and others probably would (this is when I get proven wrong).

Wildcats got embroidered hoodies from a place in Tynemouth for £20. Club logo on left breast name and number on right. I'll get a number off Phil if there's any interest.

I also like it Leafy but would it possible to do it in the reverse colour scheme (Mainly blue) just to make it dramatically different from the white shirts we already have.
