It is with regret, annoyance and apology that I will have to withdraw from this sundays tournament.
Due to the incompetence of an installation team, I'm being flown to Aberdeen on Sunday night to attend an "emergency design meeting" on Monday morning.
The words I wish to use are not befitting the readership.
I have tried all week to get out of this, siting remote attendance, but it seems they want me up there for the day.
There is a slim hope the issue will be resolved tomorrow afternoon. However I'm probably better saying I cant go, than say I can and pulling out on Sunday.
